"You need a dose of reality." Has anyone ever told you that? Well, they lied. We don't need a dose of reality. Heck, we live in reality. Instead what we need is a dose of spirituality. We need a moment to stop and realize that the world is so much bigger than us. We need a moment to realize that we are finite, but He is infinite. That moment of spirituality will make our problems shrink in a way reality could never work. One day last month I was walking along lost in thought when I chanced to look up in the sky, and there, just waiting for me to notice, was an absolutely breath-taking sunset. It made me stop and think... the sun sets every day. How many beautiful sunsets have I missed because I've been to lost in my own world to stop and take notice of them? But that's the wonderful thing about God, whether we stop and notice or not, he still creates the beautiful sunset. "The heaven's will proclaim his glory" whether we notice or not. Just a thought.
